What to Expect at an Intro Class (Videos)

Introductory classes begin with a simple guided meditation exercise to reduce stress, tension, and distractions.  This brief meditation is followed by a short talk on how to apply Buddhist principles into daily life. This may include topics such as improving relationships, gaining peace of mind, learning to love, and dealing with anger.  This is followed by a second short guided meditation designed to help us gain deeper experience of the subject of the class. Finally, the class breaks for a short informal discussion, sometimes followed by a question and answer session.  After the class there is a chance to enjoy refreshments and the company of the other participants.
