"We should keep a watch over our mind at all times by applying mindfulness, alertness, and conscientiousness; and we should try to abandon whatever bad habits we may have."

(Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, The New Meditation Handbook)

Our Center

Drolma Kadampa Buddhist Center was founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in 1997 as a non-profit organization and a member of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. “Drolma” is the Tibetan word for “Tara”, a popular female Buddha who embodies and grants fearlessness and quick wisdom.
